My name is Kiki P and I was born and raised in New England, just like my boy TB12. As much as I love the GOAT, hazy IPAs, and Maine lobster, it has always been been a lifelong dream of mine to live in Los Angeles. The city of breathtaking sunsets, dancing palm trees, coastal living, cultural diversity, food scene, nightlife, arts and entertainment, fitness and wellness. I love that LA draws people from all walks of life, from those hustling to make it in Hollywood to techies trickling down from the Bay area, to randos escaping colder weather to chase sunsets.

How did this restaurant blog come to be? Plain and simple, I live to eat. When I travel, I plan my activities around meals. After I finish one meal, I plan my next one. I use food as a reward system to motivate me to do things I don't want to do. One could argue I should be seeking help for such condition but that is a conversation for my therapist.

Why should you trust a rando like me to be a restaurant critic? Aside from being a self-proclaimed super taster (who isn't these days), I do have a few credentials. I was part of the “Yelp Elite Squad” in Boston for the years 2013, 2014 and 2015. During this time, I rated and reviewed over 250 restaurants. Friends and family members would come to me on a daily basis asking for restaurant recs, ergo the birth of "Beantown Bitez", my OG Boston restaurant blog. I figure why not scale this idea to be inclusive of all cities I have traveled to? This leads me to where I am today with "Global Eatz."

Each city has a list of restaurants in rank order. I use a 5-point rating scale taking into consideration the quality of food, vibe, service and overall value. If you are interested in reading my full reviews for the select restaurants, you can check out my Yelp page although I no longer write reviews. Ain't nobody got time for dat. Instead you will find quick and dirty rankings with highlights and tips on what dishes to order. When dining in groups, we usually discuss each dish and I factor in consensus opinions to the overall rating. Some of the restaurants are unranked, which means they were noteworthy enough to make it on my list but I have not yet had a chance to check them out.

What I appreciate most about food and drink is that it brings people together. There is nothing I enjoy more than trying out a new eatery over some good laughs. My most memorable experience was a 29 course tasting in Lima, Peru where I devoured your pet guinea pig. What I love about chef’s tasting menus is that they encourage you to venture out beyond your comfort zone which is really where life begins.
I hope this blog can be a practical resource for you as you embark on your own journey eating your way through the world, one bite at a time.

Bon Appetit,
